On Saturday 6 April, BANG BANG & heXaGEN are proud to join their forces to welcome two incredible British bands, WHAT THE BLOOD REVEALED & LOST IN THE RIOTS, plus the amazing local band INDUSTROIKA. More information below! Please share this event, because it’s gonna be freaky awesome! :-)
WHAT THE BLOOD REVEALED (post-hardcore-rock from Scotland): here is their bio: “We came together in 2004 and have created a sound influenced by such giants of the leftfield as Isis, Neurosis and Mogwai. We find our inspiration in science, and the truths it reveals.
We have released two well received EPs which have found their way to friends in 5 continents and have recently recorded an album with Ross McGowan (United Fruit, Danananackroyd) which was mastered by Carl Saff in Chicago (Om, Grails, Young Widows). The album “Harbour of Devils” is out now! on Field Records.
We’ve also shared stages with great bands like Kylesa, This Will Destroy You, Maybeshewill, Crippled Black Phoenix, Storm of Light and many more.”
Sounds like : PELICAN, RED SPAROWES and MOGWAI partying loudly all together!
LOST IN THE RIOTS (intense and melodic post-rock from UK) : LITR are a four-piece post rock outfit fighting their way out of Watford, UK since 2010. Taking a different approach to the town’s hardcore roots, the quartet serve up an energetic, guitar-driven mammoth of quiet-loud dynamics.
Sounds like: THIS WILL DESTROY YOU raped by AND SO I WATCH YOU FROM AFAR with a love story at the end.
INDUSTROIKA (PsyKraut Cinoisematic trio from Brussels) : Three humans, three computers, one keyboard, one bass, one guitar, many pedals, more pedals, heavy beats, loops, noises, samples, dings and dongs, crackles, shake it, drink it.
Sounds like: nothing really known before, but be sure that you will live a fantastic trip in your brain and soul that you would never want to be stopped… (influences CAN, FAUST and also Bourbon, Science, Wine, Cinema, Noises, Oceans, Industry, Dead Factories, etc.).
